There is a tradition of quality, character and consistency from the refined and elite Platinum Label and the majestic and complex Black Label through to delicate Rieslings and crisp Chardonnays. The Wolf Blass Presidents Selection Chardonnay is a vibrant straw yellow colour in the glass. The nose shows intense peach and melon aromas with some nutty oak influence while the palate develops tropical fruit flavours supported by integrated subtle oak characters. This rich, full-bodied wine has a creamy mouthfeel and a soft lingering finish.

WINEMAKING

Selected parcels of fruit went through barrel fermentation, followed by extended lees contact and stirring, with some malolactic fermentation taking place to add complexity and texture. The Presidents Selection Chardonnay was matured for nine months in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barriques.
