With the Wolf Blass Presidents Selection Cabernet Sauvignon, there are enticing aromas of blackberry fruits with eucalypt and mint, supported by mocha like oak. Onthe palate, there is blackcurrant fruit, the right touch of varietal leafiness with hints of dark chocolate and dusty cigar box. The full-bodied palate is soft, rich and elegant with subtle vanillin oak and integrated lingering tannins creating a fine and lengthy finish.

WINEMAKING

After harvesting, the individual parcels of fruit were fermented separately in a range of fermenting vessels in order to showcase the unique characters of each parcel. After fermentation the wines were pressed off the skins and racked into oak. The wine spent 18 months in French (70%) and American oak barrels - 28% new, 72% seasoned. Each barrel is assessed prior to blending, and lightly filtered before bottling.
