Substantial parcels of this wine were matured in a combination of seasoned and new American oak.

A medium purple with bright red hues.
Nose
The nose shows aromas of lifted cherry spice and enticing floral notes.
Palate
The palate is sweet and silky with great length and a velvet texture that maintains right throughout the finish. Juicy, sweet cherry and chocolate flavours combined with vanilla oak touches, make this wine generous and approachable.

Parcels of this wine were aged for 14 months in new French and American oak barrels, with the remainder aged for 19 months in seasoned French and American oak barrels
Colour
This is a deep, richly coloured wine - red with purple hues.
Nose
The nose is rich and clear with blackberry, chocolate and characteristic Coonawarra notes of mint. The oak aging adds a hint of coffee and cedar.
Palate
This is a rich, sweet-fruited and full bodied wine. Flavours of blackberry, cherry and raspberry gain complexity from chocolate and mint notes before the long and even finish. Finely textured tannins complete the wine offering great length and style.

Our Show Reserve Chardonnay represents a pinnacle in regional and varietal winemaking, each year reflecting the true character of the Hunter Valley as a premium wine-growing region.
The wines are selected after each vintage, from the very best barrels as they mature in our winery cellar and are carefully blended together to achieve the optimum balance of varietal and regional expression.

This wine was matured for nine months in a mixture of new, one and two year old French and American oak barriques.
Winemaker Comments
Colour
Bright deep straw in colour with green hues.
Nose
Aromas of pear, stone fruit and melon characterise the rich and intense nose. Savoury, lightly charry notes add spice to the funky, yeasty aromas.
Palate
A rich and full flavoured wine with the pear and tropical fruit aromas following from the nose onto a slightly spiced, toasty palate. Creamy and silky in texture, the palate has a long, elegant finish. This wine will repay careful cellaring.

This wine was matured for 18 months in a combination of seasoned and new American and French oak.

Colour
Deep red with purple hues.
Nose
The nose brims with sweet lifted fruit aromas, leafy Cabernet characters and woody, almost earthy tones.
Palate
The palate shows good weight with generous Cabernet fruit, tobacco leaf and spice flavours. This is a lovely, even wine with long, dry tannins that flow right throughout the finish.
