Tasting Panel

It’s a difficult job choosing the very best wines to offer our customers from the huge range available.  Our tasting panel undertake the arduous task of trialing all of our new wines!

All of the panel love wine, although none are “experts” – we leave that to the talented winemakers who produce it!  The panel assess bottle presentation, colour “nose” and taste then decide if it has the all important “wow” factor.  Balanced alongside the price the wine is only listed if it meets our highest standards – so you can be sure everything we offer you is the very best, and if we love it, we are sure you will too! 

Along with our tasting team we also use our merry band of Facebook fans to assess new wines. Periodically we send random Facebook fans samples of new and exciting wine, they then gather together their nearest and dearest and have a wine sampling evening and post their comments back to us. It's a great way for us to get new opinions and dish out wine for free as a thank you for their support!
